1. About ChatNBuy
ChatNBuy ("the Platform") is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) e-commerce platform that allows sellers ("Store Owners") to create online stores and buyers ("Customers") to browse and purchase products. ChatNBuy is operated by Sifu Solutions.
ChatNBuy is a technology platform only. We do not sell products, hold funds, process payments, or act as a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers. All transactions are conducted directly between the buyer and the seller.
2. Bank Transfer Payments — Important Disclaimer
Transactions on ChatNBuy are completed via direct bank transfer between the buyer and the store owner. ChatNBuy does not:
- Hold, receive, or transmit any funds
- Verify or guarantee the legitimacy of any store, product, or seller
- Guarantee delivery of goods or services after payment
- Mediate or arbitrate disputes between buyers and sellers
By placing an order and transferring payment, you acknowledge that you are transacting directly with the store owner and that ChatNBuy bears no liability for any loss, fraud, or dispute arising from the transaction.
3. Fraud Prevention & Buyer Protection
To protect yourself as a buyer, we strongly recommend the following:
- Verify the store: Only purchase from stores you recognise or have been referred to by someone you trust.
- Keep all records: Save screenshots of your order summary, bank transfer receipt, and any WhatsApp conversations with the seller.
- Upload your payment screenshot: Always upload your bank transfer screenshot via the order tracking page so there is a verifiable record.
- Do not overpay: Only transfer the exact amount shown on your order.
- Report suspicious stores: If you believe a store is fraudulent, contact us immediately at support@chatnbuy.com. We will investigate and may suspend the store pending review.
4. Seller Responsibilities
As a store owner on ChatNBuy, you agree to:
- Only list products and services that you own or are authorised to sell
- Fulfil all confirmed orders promptly and in accordance with your listings
- Not misrepresent products, prices, or stock availability
- Respond to buyer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Not use ChatNBuy to conduct fraudulent activity, money laundering, or any activity that violates Brunei Darussalam law or regulations
Violation of these responsibilities may result in immediate suspension or termination of your store, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChatNBuy and Sifu Solutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of contract by any store owner
- Loss of funds transferred to a third-party bank account
- Non-delivery or delayed delivery of goods
- Any dispute between a buyer and a seller
- Unauthorised access to your account
Your use of ChatNBuy is at your own risk. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage buyers and sellers to first resolve the matter directly via WhatsApp. If a resolution cannot be reached, buyers may:
- Contact ChatNBuy support at support@chatnbuy.com — we will assist where possible but cannot compel sellers to issue refunds
- Report fraud to Brunei Darussalam Royal Police Force (PDRM) or relevant financial authorities
- Contact your bank directly to dispute the transfer if you believe you are a victim of fraud
7. Changes to These Terms
ChatNBuy reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
